LumiDraw is provided by CGC Studios Pty Ltd (“we”, “us” or “our”). This policy covers the LumiDraw app and support enquiries about it. For visits to the CGC Studios website, also see our website privacy policy.

Drawings and settings
LumiDraw stores drawing content, layers, drawing names, thumbnails, creation and modification information, and app preferences on your device. This information lets the app save, reopen, organise, edit and export your work. Tutorial progress and preferences are also stored locally.
You do not need to create a separate LumiDraw account. We do not operate a server that receives your drawing files as part of ordinary drawing or exporting. Drawing content is not sent to RevenueCat.
Optional iCloud sync
If you have LumiDraw Plus and turn on iCloud Sync, Apple’s CloudKit service stores and synchronises your drawing content and related information in your private iCloud database. This includes layers, thumbnails, names, revision information and deletion records needed to keep your devices in sync.
The app stores an iCloud account identifier locally to keep your library associated with the account first used for sync. This is not your Apple Account password. Signing out or switching iCloud accounts pauses synchronisation.
You can turn sync off in LumiDraw’s Settings. This stops further synchronisation while preserving your local drawings; it does not automatically remove existing iCloud copies. Apple handles iCloud information under its privacy policy and your Apple Account settings.
LumiDraw Plus purchases
Apple processes App Store payments. LumiDraw uses RevenueCat’s software in the app, together with Apple’s StoreKit service, to show purchase options, validate purchases, determine whether Plus is available and restore previous purchases.
When the app connects to RevenueCat, its software creates or reuses an anonymous customer identifier. This can happen before you make a purchase. Requests include technical information such as your device model, operating system, app version and language settings, and Apple’s identifier for vendor. RevenueCat also receives purchase information from the app and Apple, including receipt or transaction information, the product purchased, transaction identifiers, purchase dates, purchase and refund status, storefront country or region, currency and purchase amount.
We use these purchase records for purchase validation, reporting and necessary business records. We do not add customer names or email addresses to RevenueCat, or match RevenueCat purchase records to identifiable support enquiries. Apple does not provide us with your payment card details or Apple Account password. See RevenueCat’s privacy information for more about its services.
Exports and device permissions
LumiDraw prepares exports on your device. If you choose Save to Photos, the app requests permission to add the exported photo or video to your photo library. This permission does not give LumiDraw access to browse your existing photos.
If you share an export with another app or service, the recipient handles the exported file under its own privacy practices. You choose what to share and where to send it. You can manage LumiDraw’s permissions in your device’s Settings.
Support and diagnostics
If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any attachments you choose to include. To investigate an app problem, we may ask for your app and iOS versions, device model, steps to reproduce the problem and the error message shown. Screenshots are optional and should exclude account and payment information. We use this information to respond and provide support. We do not request receipts, order numbers or transaction identifiers, and we do not use support messages to identify RevenueCat purchase records.
LumiDraw writes technical diagnostic messages to the device’s system log. Apple may separately provide app diagnostics and usage reports according to your device settings and Apple’s privacy practices. LumiDraw does not include advertising networks or a third-party app-usage analytics SDK.
Web pages opened in LumiDraw
Our support and privacy pages can open inside LumiDraw. They are hosted on GitHub Pages. When you open a page, your IP address and the information needed to request the page are sent to the host. GitHub states that it logs and stores visitors’ IP addresses for security, including when visitors are not signed into GitHub. This also applies when you visit our website in a separate browser.
These hosting records are separate from your drawings and purchase records. We do not send drawing content or purchase identifiers in our support or privacy page links. Our website does not include advertising or visitor-analytics scripts. External links open the relevant browser or app, where the destination’s privacy practices apply.
GitHub controls retention of its hosting security records under its privacy statement. It does not specify a fixed retention period for Pages visitor IP logs in its public documentation. We cannot delete those logs through LumiDraw. You can contact GitHub about information it holds or contact us for help with a privacy enquiry.
Retention and deletion
Drawings remain in your active library until you delete them. With iCloud sync enabled, deletions are synchronised to your other devices. Recovery copies and technical sync records may remain to protect against interrupted saves or conflicting updates.
Removing LumiDraw from a device removes its local app data, but does not necessarily remove iCloud copies, device backups, exported files or purchase records. Manage those copies through the relevant Apple settings or the app or service where you saved them. Turning sync off alone does not delete previously synchronised information.
Purchase records are retained as needed to support subscription and lifetime access, purchase restoration, refunds, fraud prevention and legal or accounting requirements. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve enquiries and keep necessary business records. You can contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information we hold; some records may need to be retained for these purposes or by law.
Your choices and rights
- Use local drawing features without enabling iCloud sync.
- Turn iCloud Sync on or off in LumiDraw’s Settings.
- Manage Photos permissions and Apple’s diagnostic-sharing choices in your device settings.
- Choose which drawings, exports and support attachments you share.
