Fijelly makes a little room for play. Three jelly toys respond to every squish, press and flick with satisfying sounds and haptic feedback on supported devices, so you can find your favourite movement and return to it whenever you like.

• Blob: Stretch it and watch it wobble back

All three toys are free, and no account or sign-in is needed.

Make it yours

Change each toy’s look, sound and feel, and rotate your view to enjoy it from another angle. Explore soft jelly sounds, deep thocks and crisp clicks, and earn more sounds through achievements as you play. When a toy feels just right, save it to come back to later.

Technical approach

We built Fijelly with Swift and SwiftUI, taking advantage of:

• Metal: Ray-marched jelly with refraction, absorption, Fresnel reflection and colour bounce, deforming as you squish and stretch it
• Core Haptics: Haptic feedback that follows each movement on supported devices
• AVFoundation: Sound playback that skips late sounds, keeping audio in step with your touch
• SQLiteData and CloudKit: Saved toys and play statistics synced through iCloud when available
• StoreKit and RevenueCat: The one-time Fijelly Plus purchase

Development insights

Fijelly only feels right when sight, sound and touch stay in step. A sound that arrives too late to match a movement is skipped rather than played out of time, and haptic feedback is spaced out during rapid play.

The jelly renderer adjusts its resolution to the measured GPU cost of each frame. It reduces detail quickly when a frame runs long and recovers gradually, leaving headroom for smooth interaction on both 60 Hz and 120 Hz displays.

Free and Plus

Fijelly includes four toy colours, four backgrounds, selected sounds and one saved custom preset for free. Fijelly Plus is a one-time lifetime purchase with no subscription. It unlocks all built-in toy and background colours, custom colour pickers, Pearl and Frosted finishes, all included sounds, 27 alternate app icons and unlimited saved custom presets. The app shows your local price before you buy.
